I just got back from a week in Colorado. I had a chance to spend time with my kids! My son is working in Colorado Springs at a golf resort.
We spent 4th of July by going to see Royal Gorge then driving to Denver to see an MLS soccer game and a great fireworks show after that.

My summer break has flown by! I can’t believe that June is almost over! I have spent most of the time relaxing and reading. My daughter came home for Father’s Day and we worked on cleaning out her room. I went to Houston for a day to see my parents and run some errands.
My husband and I are leaving on Monday for a week in Colorado Springs. We will stay in Lubbock on the way to Colorado and get a chance to see my daugher and her husband and see their new apartment. Then Tuesday we will drive the rest of the way to Colorado Springs. My son is working there at a golf course this summer so we are going to see him and see some of the sights in the area. We are going to an MLS soccer game in Denver on the 4th of July. We will head back to San Antonio on Sunday the 5th.

My whole life I wanted to be a teacher. I started out as a Speech Pathologist, but then when the CIT job opened, I decided to switch so I could help kids and teachers learn technology. What do you want to be?

Wow! I bet you were excited about going on a field trip. Then… the weather turned horrible for a little while and your field trip was cancelled. Write about some fun activites that your teacher could do to make this a better day.

I am not an athlete at all, but I love to watch sports!
I think my favorite sport to watch is soccer. My kids played soccer since they were 4 years old. I love watching college basketball and football and the SPURS!

I am very ready for a break! I am really looking forward to my spring break. I am leaving for Houston right after school. I am going to stay with my parents for the week. I need to run some errands to get ready for my daughter’s wedding in May and hope to have lots of time to relax!
My husband, son and daughter will be arriving in Houston on Friday the 13th. We will spend the weekend together there and my daughter has a wedding shower.
What are your plans for spring break?

I like to watch some of the reality shows. I also like to watch shows like Law and Order SVU, Emergency, Grey’s Anatomy and Private Practice. What TV shows do you watch?

When I was growing up, we did not have video games. We spent a lot more time outside than most kids do now. We played kickball, basketball, soccer and rode our bikes. My kids are in college now, but we didn’t let them have video games when they were growing up. Once my son was in college, he bought himself a Wii. I think he was about the only kid his age that didn’t have a video game player. Now, it seems most kids have one if not more than one. What games do you like to play?
